With Project Management in building we seek to enhance the relationship between owner and project manager; including the client in all the design and building of the house/renovation. With open book accounting all sections of the project are budgeted and quoted prior to commencement, we allow for actual specifications requested by the owners not a set specification that builders use when quoting – limited scope, reduced quality and price.
During the building of the project accounts are detailed on weekly and fortnightly cycles to suit the trades, suppliers and owner. Once checked and approved – the client views every account prior to payment – money is transferred into an account for payment to the relative trades & suppliers. In this fashion we guarantee that the clients’ money is being used solely on their project and not propping up another projects cash flow.
By undertaking this method you have a happy site, trades understand their work is appreciated and will turn up every week in the knowledge they will be paid and quality of work is at its highest. With this process it allows us to seek best prices from our select suppliers, materials are of high standard giving peace of mind for the future. You the client only pay our buying price, we have over the last 32 years built excellent relationships with trusted suppliers and trades giving you the finish and costings we specify.
This guarantees there are no short cuts taken in the building process, every decision is based on the clients input, their needs and wants. If savings are made on original specs and budgets then the money is back in the clients pocket to keep or redirect to other areas of the construct. This promotes trust and harmony on the build which is extremely important as this is a stressful time in one’s life – building a new house or renovation.
